DAP awarded broadband project in Brazil

decision analysis partners has been selected by the Companhia de Processamento de Dados do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (PROCERGS) to develop a roadmap to expand the State of Rio Grande do Sul’s fiber and wireless broadband network and modernize the existing data center.  This technical assistance project is sponsored by a grant from the U.S. Trade and Development Agency.  

Rio Grande do Sul is the southernmost state in Brazil and it has the fourth highest HumanDevelopment Index in the country.  With a population estimated at 12.2 million in 2014, it is the fifth most populous state.  Digital inclusion has become a national priority and the state of Rio Grande do Sul seeks to be a reference for Brazil in providing extensive e-services to its population.
